Rebecca Merifield DC, MChiro
I’m Rebecca, born and raised in Sheffield. Mum to two young boys. When I'm not in clinic, you will most likely find us outside climbing, paddling or collecting sticks somewhere in the beautiful Peak District.
I graduated from the AECC, Bournemouth University, in 2011. I moved back to Sheffield, where I spent my first three years working, followed by a decade in Chesterfield as an associate in three different practices.
My dream was always to set up by myself and run my own clinic. Since gaining a wealth of knowledge and practical experience, I have had the pleasure of founding Dore Chiropractic in 2024.
Chiropractic is my passion, treating patients as a whole, not just one medical problem at a time. Whether you are recovering from an injury or surgery, in pain or simply wanting to be a better you, my goal is to help you reach your full potential and thrive. I treat people of all ages and from all walks of life, from professional triathletes to people starting their fitness journey with a couch to 5km programme.
Regulation
In common with other healthcare professionals, such as medical practitioners, nurses and dentists, the chiropractic profession is regulated by law.
The Chiropractors Act 1994 provides statutory regulation for the profession and the title ‘chiropractor’ is protected under this legislation. The statutory regulator is the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and it is illegal to practise as a chiropractor without being registered with the GCC.
Rebecca Merifield is a member of the British Chiropractic Association (BCA) and the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) number 03545
I have known Rebecca a long time. I followed her when she moved clinics as I am very happy with her treatments. I see her every 4-6 weeks to keep up with my health. I had terrible back problems when I first saw her, after 2 sessions I felt 100% better. I had previously been told by another chiropractor that they couldn't help me anymore. Over the years I have had work related problems with my shoulders and a problem with my knee, all sorted due to regular treatments with Rebecca. I had to see a different chiropractor while Rebecca was on maternity leave and I couldn't wait for her return! I highly recommend her, not only because of her treatment but because she is a lovely person and I would say we have become friends over the years.

I was involved in a car accident in July 2022 and subsequently started with sciatica. I persevered for several months, but after my first consultation with Becky it was just what I needed! The adjustments that Becky worked on really did do the trick. I'm a keen cyclist who competes so it was super important that I be able to carry on doing that. Becky is very professional, detailed in what work needs to be done and has a great sense of understanding with her knowledge and experience. I'd highly recommend Becky!
